The Black Edition is our elite strongman and powerlifting series. We’ve brought a new Lever Belt to the line in order to kick things off. Thirteen millimetres versus the standard 10 mm means this belt is, quite frankly, indestructible. Bench press, squat, deadlifts, no problem. We dare you to take it for a spin.

Bigger, thicker, stronger, and yet, still so easy to use. The Black Edition of our Lever Belt hasn’t sacrificed utility for the sake of rigidity, making it a more valuable part of your gym bag than ever before. One step ahead. Again. When we say elite, we mean it. The design process of all Black Edition products was a lengthy one, because we never wanted to sacrifice usability for the sake of packing on brute mass. What you’ll find in this Lever Belt is a tool that will never fold under the most extreme lifts, so you can keep your mind set on your next PR.

Material and Care

Warranty

This is not your pants size.
With your clothes on, measure the circumference halfway between your rib cage and your hips (usually around the belly button).
If you expect to wear a hoodie while training, measure yourself with it.

If you are between two sizes, size up.
The measurement are inclusive ">= and <="

As a general rule, you should be able to pass tightly one hand size between your midsection and the belt.

To the contrary of common belief, the belt shouldn't be worn on your hips close to your lower back.
The belt should be right below your rib cage and seat above your hip bone. The tighter it's worn the more secure the Lever Buckle will stay in place.

If you can feel the belt on your hips, the belt is too low.
If the belt is on your rib cage, it's too high, it should be placed right underneath your rib cage.

The Rise Belts are designed to increase intra-abdominal pressure when breathing.
When breathing your midsection expands and stabilizes your core by pressing against the belt.

A brand new leather belt will feel stiff in the beginning, the more you use it, the better it will feel and mould to your body.
Usually, a few workouts do it. You might want to roll in the belt back and forth when you receive it.
Do not roll it too small to prevent damaging the leather or suede.

I think it's important to explain that the Metal Lever can’t be broken or defective due to its simplicity in how it works. There's no locking mechanism in a lever.

The "Lock-in" is created when the belt is tight enough and with the pressure of your core against the belt.
When a belt is brand new, it's not staying in a perfect rounded shape since it's stiffer than a worn belt.

That being said, if the belt is adjusted properly, once you soften the belt by wearing it and rolling it a few times it will stay in place and "Lock-in".

The metal lever has a curve and as the belt is new, you might have to soften the belt before attaching the bolts to the lever.

Try to carefully bend the belt back and forth so it can curve to the form of the metal lever.
Once it's bent to the shape, apply pressure while screwing the bolt between the metal place and the lever's threaded holes.

The holes on your Lever Belt are made like this on purpose to keep the belt tight and secure with the hooks.
The two hooks of your Rise Metal Lever will go in the circle holes and the circle prong part in the oval ones.

Why oval holes for the circle prong?
When you are breaking-in the belt, the metal hooks will stretch a little the circle holes to find their natural position, having the oval holes ensure that the circle prong will have space.

That's all normal, we want you to wear a belt at all times.
Jokes aside, in the beginning, it will be hard to remove your belt because the metal lever hooks didn't stretch the circle holes enough yet.
The more you wear it, the easier it will get.
But why not make the holes bigger?

That's a great question, each belt is unique and so is the person using it. The size of the holes will change depending on the pressure exercised on the belt.
You can use a screwdriver to loosen the holes a little. Don't overdo it to make sure the metal lever can keep you secure.

How to clean your belt (Leather and Neoprene Finish)

Use a damp soft or microfiber cloth, dip in a bowl of water with a drop or two of soap and wring until the cloth is damp.
Wipe the leather with another damp cloth (dip in water only and wring it).
Use a dry cloth to dry the leather.

How to clean the suede of your belt:

Use a dry cloth, dip in white vinegar and gently rub onto the fabric.
Gently and thoroughly brush the area to remove any dirt or marks.
Let the suede air dry.

Note: Do not use a heater or blow dryer to dry as this can fade or damage the suede. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent the color of the suede to fade away.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse or neglect.

Lever Belt Extended Warranty
There's a 1-year warranty on the metal lever. If for some reason it breaks within a year, we will send you a replacement.

The belt itself can last a lifetime.
As for the metal lever on Lever Belts, our athletes and most of our customers never broke a lever, however, like anything else, it can break depending on how you take care of your belt.
If you drop your belt on the floor often or hit the metal lever often it might eventually break.
Think of it like the breaks on a car, the sportier you're driving, the quicker you'll have to change them.
